Grand Canyon Chapter

In June of this year, Grand Canyon Chapter (GCC) held elections for chapter officers for fiscal year 2010-11. On July 8, 2010, during the Chapter's regularly scheduled meeting, Travis Lingenfelter, past GCC President held an installation ceremony for the newly elected GCC Chapter Officers. The National Institute of Purchasing recognizes those organizations that demonstrate excellence by obtaining a high score based on standardized criteria. The criteria are designed to measure innovation, professionalism, productivity, e-procurement, and leadership attributes of the procurement organization.

Three of our agency members have earned the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement (AEP) Award. A round of applause goes out to Mohave County, Yavapai College for its fifth consecutive year, and Mohave Educational Services Cooperative who has received this recognition for the sixth consecutive year.

We may be a small chapter but we are mighty!
